Pricing
Because of the nature of this kind of work, pricing can be a difficult topic. To be honest, at present web design is still a highly unregulated field. That means that the consumer has to be very very careful about who they choose to perform services for them. Always always ask for a comprehensive quote, ask to see previous work completed, and make sure they have the skills to deliver what you want. There is nothing worse than being taken for a ride and being wildly overcharged, or believing someone can deliver something that in fact they have never attempted before. Being a guinea pig isn’t fun!
Now we’ve got that out of the way, we can talk about Crescendo’s pricing policy. As you can probably tell, we have an intense hatred for anyone who overcharges and underdelivers to unwitting clients. So we have a flexible pricing policy, based on 4 key points:
- Supporting growing businesses. We are a small business ourselves, and therefore really like to support other growing businesses. We reckon what goes around comes around, so if you need help when you’re starting up or expanding, we’d love to be there to help you.
- Sticking to your budget. If you have a budget, let us know, and we will tell you what you can expect to receive. We won’t try to convince you to spend ridiculous amounts on things you don’t need, but will try to give solid helpful advice on where your money is best spent
- Supporting charities and non-for-profit organisations. This is pretty self-explanatory - if you are one, let us know! We like to support our community, and discounts for our services is one way we can do so.
- Making it easy on us! Yep, that’s right. If you get your content to us promptly, choose designs quickly, and get back to us speedily, there will be reward in it for you! That’s not to say you should rush, just that for people who want to get things done and dusted, there’s extra incentive.
