Experimenting...

So I’m a total newbie to blogwriting. Untrodden snow, fresh to the game, touched for the very first time… you get my drift. I’m actually a newbie to all things online networking, except Facebook. And that doesn’t really count, because lets face it, most people now use it to post compromising pictures, take quizzes to find out which vegetable they should be and join groups to become ‘fans of eating when I am hungry.’ So not really what this is about.

I’ve decided to offer myself up as a guinea pig. I will be trialling a series of online networking platforms, and we’ll see what happens. I have no idea what to expect really, so I’ll just report things as they happen.

I do love writing, which should hopefully help me have some interesting things to say. I hope. They say you should have a goal, and mine is *deep breath* towriteinhereonceperweek. That’s right, now it’s in black and white, I can’t go back. I aim to give you one full blog-post-item each week. With some other bits thrown in in between because I’m not so good at waiting.

I’m a twenty-something self-employed workaholic in the web design industry. I know some things about writing, the web, design and branding. In here you’ll be able to pick up some hints on the above, and hear how I’m getting on with the business. I’ll also be telling you about the results of my online networking experiment, and making suggestions on what you can do if you’d like to join me. Random thoughts and funny things I come across may end up here too… you have been warned!
